During the second day of stay in Poland, Xie Zhenhua, China’s Special Representative on Climate Change, the meeting at the National Centre for Emissions Management (KOBiZE) was held with the participation of Deputy Minister Sławomir Mazurek, director of the Institute of Environmental Protection – National Research Institute (IOŚ-PIB) – Krystian Szczepański and Head of the National Centre for Emissions Management – Paweł Mzyk.

The talks focused on preparations for the climate summit and the possibility of supporting the Chinese side in the process of adopting a full package implementing the Paris Agreement, which is the most important goal of COP24 in Katowice. During the meeting, the assumptions of the LIFE Climate CAKE PL project were also presented.
